As you all know, I love doing the challenges posted on the A Muse Lounge. However, February's Challenge got me really stumped. I think I first read it on February 1st, but it wasn't until this week that I finally figured out how I could put them together.
The challenge was to use one of three color schemes:
-french roast, swiss red and popsicle pink
-orange crush, papaya, and sky blue
-black/slate and white
I had hoped to do one of each, but I couldn't even come up with one during the course of the month, until now.
It's just a quickie, using my favorite stamp from the "Sea of Love" release, but i like how it turned out. Best of all, it's already been written in and dropped in the mail. Woo-hoo for that!

Mini Flower Card
Well, it's been raining non-stop here, which has made it difficult to get motivated and also to photograph my cards. So, here's a fun little birthday card I did a while back.
The repeating flower was a little accessory on one of my Hero Arts Sparkle Clear sets from a while ago (THIS one to be exact), and the birthday cake is by A Muse. The sentiment is part of another Hero Arts clear set called Happy Day Animals. I colored some white Memory Box pearls with my green Copic for the purple flowers' centers.
Here's hopin' it gets sunny and spring-like really soon!

Because I Love You--Blog Candy!
Hey there! Did that title get your attention?
In honor of Valentine's Day and my birthday the day after, I'm giving away some blog candy! I thought it would be fun to give away some treats from a few of my favorite companies. Wanna see?
This prize includes a 25 pack of A2 notecards by Memory Box, the Live It Up Sparkle Clear stamp set by Hero Arts, a Rock Star stamp and this cool water bottle from A Muse.
All you have to do to win is leave a comment on this post, including your first name and where you're from ('cause I'm curious who reads this blog.). One comment per person please!
The deadline to enter is February 16th at 12:00PM Pacific Time. One winner will be randomly selected and announced shortly thereafter.
Good luck!

January ATC
I don't know about you, but to me, 2010 is just flying by. I had barely recovered from the holidays when we started up a new round of ATC swapping with Tracy. I'm loving this group. The ideas they come up with are UH-mazing!
Anyway, here was my submission to the swap:
Pretty clean and straightforward. Of course, once I got the full set back in the mail, my mind started swirling with ideas for the next two months. Is it possible that creativity is contagious? Gotta love the talent of my swapping cohorts!
Well, on the theme of 2010 speeding by, Valentine's Day and my birthday are quickly approaching. Stay tuned for some blog candy later this week!

Japanese Birthday Card. . .
I've been needing lots of birthday cards lately, so I came up with this quickie using a Hero Arts stamp, and October Afternoon Cherry Hill patterned paper, and an A Muse sentiment. See you soon!
